Question

Replacing lawn.. Need complete step by step instructions for lawn prep...

I am replacing my lawn and need instruction on how to do so.

Most importantly, I need to know:

- After tilling, do I remove all debris... or just rocks and sticks?

- how deep should I till?

- How do i make sure not to till irrigation pipes underground?

- Do I mix new soil in with tilled debris?

Those are the most important thing i would like to know, along with the start to finish process of the prep.
Thank you very much. Mike

First thing you do it get the soil tested.
It's almost never a good idea to rototiller a yard before starting a yard.
All the sticks and stones need to go.
Look this site over and ask some question there for some great advice.
