regrading away from the house...

i need to regrade the land as there in a bit of a swell into the foundation.. the dirt is going to be easy.. but I am concerned about the front sidewalk that leads to the front porch steps ( steps made of brick risers and concrete runners), the sidewalk is pitched into the house.. is there a way i can dig under the concrete and add crushed stone under the pitch to level and correct?

A picture would help, but I would probably suggest mudjacking.
