PTO clutch

I own a John Deer f-510 "0" radius lawn tractor and while the mower is running and warmed up the mower deck just quits Ipresumed and tested switch for mower and changed itwith the same results. Now I,mnot sure but am wondering if it isnt the PTO clutch.Up until a few days ago I had never even herd of aPTO clutch but I,m guessing its some kind of last line of defense for engine. Can anyone tell me if Ican adjust this clutch and if its no adjustable can it be testecd for failure and last how to replace it if need be.HELP apreciated Thanks in advance

PTO clutch

When you flip the switch for the blades on the mower deck do they engage? If you can cut grass you have pulled in the PTO.
