privacy fence
I put in a picket fence in which I bought 8 foot sections; when I put in some of the posts, I didn't leave room for error and ended up with too much space between posts, sometimes up to 2 to 3 inches to deal with. This was ok for the picket fence sections, but now I want to put up a vinyl privacy fence by sections. How do I manage this without pulling out the fence posts and starting from scratch :0(

If you don't want to redo it, I would use a long wood to wood tie plate, or a couple short ones, one from each fence section to the post, to attach it all together.
Similar to this: http://www.lowes.com/ProductDisplay?...llow&cId=PDIO1 Then buy a an extra picket or two to mount over the top and hide them.

mount couplers on the exsisting post and slip the vinly horizontals pipe into the couplers and adjust then match the color you in

Are your panels attached with brackets or do they fit into routered holes in the posts?
