Preserving A Tree Stump
I have converted a 4' high 3 1/2' diameter tree stump into a "stump house". It is gutted down 28" leaving a 4" wall. I have built a circular roof, made windows, door, porch, stairs and I have furniture, characters, and a solar lighting system. The landscaping around the stump house is in perspective to the size with pathways, small shop, patio, etc.
My problem is that it is being attacked by insects and the wood is drying and rotting away. Does anyone have any ideas to preserve, seal, deter insects, etc. I need help.
Sorry, don't know how to post image.
