Posts in a chain link fence.....cemented down

My mother in law is having a chain link fence put in that is approx 25 feet long.
The contractor that is putting it in told me that the only post that he plans on cementing down is t he first one. The other 3 posts that he is putting in are just hammered into the ground.

The post that he is cementing down is sitting on a concrete driveway. So he plans to drill a large hole in the cement and then put the post in and fill it in with cement.

I would like to know if he needs to put the other posts in concrete also. He said that he can't do that or the frost will crack it anyway.

Is that true?

Thanks
