Polymeric Sand on paver Job

Hi!

We have had a contractor grade and set 1400 square feet of pavers, but we are finishing it by putting the polymeric sand in.

I just realized that one small piece of paver in the pattern is missing and wasn't cut prior to them leaving yesterday.

We are supposed to sand today, but there is no piece there. It needs to be cut and we dont have the right equipment.

Any suggestions?

have them cut a piece for you. in the mean time, do your sanding. just put a rag in the hole.

I do plan on having them cut the piece, but they wont be back until Friday or so.

If I put a rag in the hole, do I leave that in when i water the sand or take it out?

Probably best to water it on fresh planting, might add some root starter to help it take root....

Hacker... it really does not mater, put a rag in to keep your sand from spilling into the void while it sets.... then put your cut piece in and poly sand... and sprikle it.

Even if you don't.. you can chizel out poly sand witha butter knife.

No problem

Best
