Perforated corrugated pipe

My downspouts drain into a perforated pipe that runs under the width of my sidewalk 4' and into my yard about 6 feet past sidewalk.
The sidewalk is new, I paid no attention when the concrete was poured over these pipes, until now. I figured it was just corrugated pipe, but upon further inspection the corrugated was perforated.
Should I be concerned about the perforated pipe under my sidewalk?

Can I insert a smaller piece of pvc pipe into that corrugated and run it onto my gutter and connected it with the right adapters?

Re: Perforated corrugated pipe

I might be more concerned with the fact that, if I understand correctly, the corrugated pipe is also perforated where it connects with your gutter's downspout. If that's extremely close to your foundation, I'd want to make sure it's not seeping out too much within the first few feet.

Of course, it sort of depends on the style of the perforations in the corrugated pipe. Are they the ~0.5 inch holes, usually in two or three rows facing downward? Or the tiny little slits that are placed all around the pipe?

As for the sidewalk, I'm assuming you're just concerned with the soil getting saturated and causing the sidewalk to crack?

Re: Perforated corrugated pipe

They are the tiny slits and yes my main concern is the concrete cracking.
