Paver Patio w/ Polymeric Sand
I had a paver patio sealed last year. Polymeric sand replaced the original sand as well. After everything dried, it appears the roller used to apply the seal spread the polymeric sand. Now I have polymeric sand sealed and stuck to my pavers. How can I correct this? I had the company look at it a few days ago and was told that this is the first time it has happened and that he would try to fix it by using a scraper to remove the polymeric sand..? Will that work, or could that do more damage to my patio?

Thanks for any replies!

How did they replace the original sand with polymeric sand in the first place?

If they replaced the sand, they should have vibrated the polymeric sand into the joints to preserved the interlock and levelness.

It is rare to see polymeric on a real interlocking paver job like a driveway, sidewalk, street, airport taxiway or ship unloading area, but its seems to get sold on the casual jobs.

I am not exactly sure how the polymeric sand was installed. I had the impression they used a pressure washer or an air compressor.

That's one hecl of a fish concrete mason.
