Paver base

Hello. I excavated a 50 X 16 sq/ft area to be used as a patio with pavers.
I used about 20 yds of rca in coverage. All areas are at least 4" deep with rca. The problem is I excavated too much and am short on rca. Would it be a problem if I added about 3 yards (about an additional 1" on top of the rca) of clean fill on top of the 4"rca base to get the proper height? I will be using 1"sand under the pavers as well. All areas are tamped.
Thanks you.
