patio


we would like to build a hardscape patio over a section of our septic drain line it will just pavers placed over the top where the grass is. can we do this if not how far do we have to be from the drain line

crosscru5, a couple of questions for you. How old is your septic system and the lines? If it's fairly old then I would recommend using caution over the lines, as not to bust or colapse the line. If it is an older system, then it might also be to your advantage to have your lines Hydro Lifted to clean the lines of any solids that may have filtered through. Best to check with your local septic company.

Newer system will tolerate a little more point loading of weight over the system. Depending on what region your in, you might be able to minimize the amount of excavation needed for properly basing up your project.
