Patio #2 is complete

Well its been a long time coming but 1 of 2 patios is now complete. In 2 weeks time we should have the larger one done too. I can't wait for this project to be over and I'm sure dear husband is itching to buy his new BBQ.

Grading

Fitting the puzzle pieces together

Cutting the edge pieces to fit

Polymeric Sand is swept in, compacted and watered....Finish results

Even though its taken a long time, I love how its turned out.

That looks really nice
Where did you get the pavers?

Belgard - Mega Arbel is the main paver
Belgard - Urban is the edge the step out from the garage
The Arbel pavers are huge but they go down so fast, just protect your back

I have to say, I'm not a big fan of mimicking natural stone, but your patio turned out very nicely.

Thanks
I really liked the look it creates and I think it has to do with the sheer size of the paver to make it more realistic. I think the smaller version which is easier to handle doesn't look so natural.

Beautiful patio! I love the combination of different stone color and textures. Great job! Doesn't feel even better knowing it was done with your own hard work?
