It is October 1oth in Bucks county Pa.
Is it ok to overseed or will any new germination in 10-20 days be killed by frost that is due during the same time.So my question is will new germination be killed by the frost or just go domant until spring 2012.
This late it's better to just wait until spring to seed. You really aren't going to gain anything by planting this fall and you risk having it rot or get killed over the winter depending on when cold weather arrives.
Given the latitude of Bucks County, you are right at the end of the grass seed season. A warm, wet fall will get you grass that handles the winter. If it turns colder than normal soon, then you won't. I agree with Msradell on this one. Wait for early spring.
