Opinion needed about Toro Z5000 zero-turn mower

Over the winter, I was given a 2007 model Toro Timecutter Z5000 ZTR mower, with a 50-inch deck. The tractor runs fine (but does have an oil leak) but the deck needs rebuilt. Other than firing it up the day I got and joyriding around the yard, the thing has been sitting in my garage since.

I have a 0.4 acre lot that is mostly level, but do have a lot of trees/bushes in the landscape. I'm currently using a 22" self-propelled AWD Husquvarna mower for yard work, and generally can get the yard done in about three hours (including all trimming, edging, and blowing). As the Georgia summer gets hotter, I think I would definitely appreciate a rider, but sorta think that a 50" mower is a little too big for my lot.

My question is this: would it be worth my time to find a smaller deck (maybe 42") to put on the tractor, or should I just get a new rider that is appropriately-sized to my lot?

Deck needs rebuilding does not tell us much.
What's wrong with it?
Fix it and it will cut your mowing and weed whacking time down by at least 50 to 75%.

The desk needs three new idler pulleys, at least two new scalp wheels, a belt, and I would want to install a mulching kit and new blades, so there's a small list. I'm just not sure what the break-point on putting money into a 7-year-old mower vs. buying a new one.

I'd suggest the last.
Sell the ZTR **as is** and buy a small LT... maybe even an RWR.
