Ooops! Gas oil mix in lawn mower

My lawn mower accidently got filled with the gas oil mix instead of the gas can. Can this be fixed or will I have to buy a new lawn mower? If so, how do I do this?

Draining a mower gas tank is easy, with pliers.

if you haven't run the machine, just tip it upside down and drain it. it likely won't do any damage. it'll burn off fast.

it will probably smoke for awhile but that will go away

Just run the mower like normal, outside of the little smoke from the 2 cycle oil, no issues otherwise likely to be seen.

if by chance you end up running some of the oil gas mix, the worst the is going to happen from that little bit is you might foul the spark plug. If after running it with the plain gas it doesn't seem to run as well as it did before, you might try replacing the spark plug with a new one.

This is a lot less problematic than putting the plain gas in the 2-cycle engine!

Go find a plastic disposable turkey baster at the dollar store.
