Need advice in South Texas
I am renting this home but looking to fix up the yard it is kinda plain. Don't really like rock gardens but need advice.
Drip irrigation is inexpensive and may broaden the list of plants you can get to grow. It waters in gallons per hour not gallons per minute like garden hoses or conventional sprinklers and you can put emitters only where you want to have water.
Look toward plants native or at least tolerant of your climate. Check books in the library, ag extension offices or visit a real, not box store, nursery.
You should get those stones out of your way before planting.
