Mulch

I can't remember the name of it now... but I was at Home Depot picking up some mulch for house we just moved into. They had the regular mulch you see in most of the gardens here in FL and then they had another one (the name escapes me)... its $9..99 per bag and it says its lasts for years and won't blow away etc.

Anyone have any clue what I am talking about and if it is any good? I have been racking my brain trying to remember the name on the bag lol. I don't see any mention of it on their website either

My friend put down a product that was made from old tires and it looks like mulch. She is very happy with it even though the initial expense was a lot more...

I can see it used on playgrounds but not in plant beds..

I used Rubberific Mulch from Ace Hardware that was made out of recycled tires. It was fairly expensive but looks great and of course, won't break down. I'm curious to see how well it holds up and if it really doesn't harm the plants in that bed. It has a 10 year color guarantee.
