A lot of flies on the front yard flower.. What to do ? Help...

I setup the front yard flower bed... spent approx $200 bucks on it for soil and flowers/trees

now... 2 days after, found a lot of flies on the plants... questions:

- will this harm the plants?
- is it because we use too much flower specific soil which is too nuturious (12 bags) rather than using cheaper soil?
- how can we get rid of the flies...

Flies will not normally hurt the plants..

Some plants actually attract flies...

What did you plant flower wise?

Sorry I don't know the name but looks like the situation is better after the heavy rainfall last night... may be just the beginning ... I am not going to worry about it ...

Check to see if you planted any daisies... They are known attractors of flies.

Alot of flies live on organic material......It may be the mulch or soil.for some hints check out an article I wrote on flies..Just info nothing to buy from me.
