Looking for a new weedeater

My ryobi bit the dust last week, and I looking to upgrade.
Would you recommend another 2 cycle or go to a 4 cycle.
I have many attachments, and the ryobi seemed underpowered for some of them.

So, what have you guys bought and used, and why?

If you want 4 cycle, go with a Honda.

If you want 2 cycle, go with a Husqvarna (what I have) or a Stihl.

Another great brand that you don't see mentioned much is Hitachi (or Tanaka).

If my Husky ever quits on me, I'll probably get a Hitachi.

I bought a Craftsman anniversary edition four years ago and have never had an issue. Plenty of power (2 cycle), no attachments. Good luck!

I bought a Stihl FS-55 (2-cycle) a couple weeks ago. Granted, I've only used it twice, but I couldn't be happier. And with the 2-year warranty and the shop 10 minutes away, I feel covered.

have had an echo straight shaft 2 cycle for 10 years, still going strong.

I don't know much about the 4 cycles, but i would LOVE not to have to keep 2 seperate fuel cans, and when mine dies i will be looking at the pros and cons of a 4 cycle FOR SURE
