Lawn fertilizing plan in the Northeast
I need some advice on a product plan, such as Scott's, that has seasonal fertizling plan for my lawn. Any suggestions? And when should I start. It's now March, so is there a spring fertilizer I should put down soon, then a summer, etc...

I just bought a house and the lawn was burnt and dead. I used the organic fertilizer from Home Depot (do not have the name right now). It was $20 a bag and worked really well. Within a month the lawn looked as good as any house around me. A benefit of the organic fertilizer is that it is hard to over fertilize like with Scotts. Too much high nitrogen fertilizer can burn the lawn. The organic is also better for the environment
