HPB - High Performance Bedding

The Landscape supplier recommend this product for setting up the sub-base HPB.... it is basically a 1/4" or 3/8" crashed rocks/limestones.... I used it in the weekend for setting up the retaining wall/platform/stair... it is quite good... it claimed to be 93% compacted already so compacting is not necessary although does no harm either...

have you tried this? and want to share your experience ? It seems a new product around recently and no books have any mentioning of it... there are minimum information for this in internet as well...

after digging more in internet...

looks like this guy does not need any sand also, I meant the 1" sand for laying the stone... gee this is a real hassel saver....

the more I read the more I love this....
