I have sections of my lawn that are bent grass(like golf green). I can't get rid of it. A couple years ago I read on Scotts website that you have to kill it. I used roundup on it in the fall and killed it then I put new topsoil on top and good grass seed in the spring and the bent grass came back. It seems to favor the low areas in my lawn that stay wetter. I don't know if it matters but I have a sprinkler system that uses a lake pump. The lake I live on is a clean lake and I have a sandy beach. The reason I want it gone is that it makes the lawn look patchy. Sorry no pictures, It's snowing now. What can I do to get rid of it and keep it gone?
