Help Me Identify This Weed!

I'm in the middle of renovating my lawn after moving into the house fall last year. I just started spraying some crabgrass control and will hopefully start overseeding soon (fescue lawn, SW Connecticut).

Anyway, I recently noticed some weeds/vines growing ALL OVER my yard - mostly in the landscaped beds in the front of the house and by the back fence. They grow extremely quickly and develop deep roots. Their vines/stalks are red, and in the fall will start growing blackish/blue berries that the animals love. Any idea what they are? They're everywhere!

It's hard to see from that photo, but it might be a ground cherry. Does it have any fruit showing?

I'd yank it soon before it goes to seed.

Base on the picture its look like pokeberry also know as poke weed. Poke weed is very poisonous invasive species, and is a rapidly growing perennial shrub.

Have you try Roundup?

That looks to be a match, thanks everyone! Will spray some RoundUp and report back!
