Help with choosing ground cover for spaces between tiles

Please let me know what groundcover you think would work best for the area between the tiles. I want something green, I was thinking just normal grass, but wouldn't that be a maintenance nightmare? There is watering pipes running through all the cracks, so everything should stay healthy.

Let me know your thoughts.

Moss.
It's self-maintaining, can handle relative foot traffic and ususally reduces weed growth. . . but sometimes hard to find - might have to look at a nursery for it.

Anything else, in my simple opinion, would possibly overgrow the area.

You could also go with pea-gravel

If you get enough sun, Creeping Thyme would be nice. Once-per year pruning would keep it from spreading too much horizontally.
