How do i identifiy what kind of grass i have.

Ive had the same problem in the past. I merely used google images and typed in "grass" till i found a picture that looked similar.

Thats how I found out that my old front yard was littered with patches of st augustine grass instead of crabgrass like originally thought. Give it a try

A master nurseryman, at a real nursery, can probably identify it for you or send it off to your nearest ag extension office. Just grab a little section in either case for a sample.
