Grass
I had a lawn full of weeds last summer, I've been afraid to put down regular fertilizer because of our dog. Before we had a dog, my grass looked great, but can't get rid of the dog now.
My question is... 1. since it's a mild winter up here in Mass. is there steps I can take to start my way to a nice summer grass now?? 2. Also, I have a lot of valleys or low spots in my grass, can I just loam and seed on top of the existing grass to even the grass.?? 3. Also, have spots where water collects, and thus have moss, should I just lime the heck out of those areas??? Thanks Barry |
May want to look this site over for some good advice.

You can just seed over it ( its called over/inter seeding) but depending on the size of the area I would rip it up and reseed it if it's small. No need to do things now unless you put an application of organic fertilizer on it.
