Gilmour Pattern Master Sprinkler

Deos anyone has any experience with one of these?

It is a Gilmour Pattern master sprinkler with adjusteable sprinkler pattern and distance. Do they really work as the site has indicated,

http://gilmour.com/Watering_Hose_End...ternMaster.asp

Thanks,

Rohn

I have two of these – well I think so anyway – they look EXACTLY the same but have “Craftsman” written on them instead of Gilmour.

They are not bad sprinklers, but I do not think that they live up to the expectations set by the graphics on the website you linked to (same picture as was on the back of the sprinkler boxes I got). With these, I have SOME control over distance, but thinking I can drag this sprinkler out into the yard and then set it perfectly to water anything other than a circle or crude asymmetrical oval is laughable.

Again, not a bad sprinkler overall, but either its setting features are overstated, or I just have not yet figured out how to use it properly.

Has anyone been able to hook up their sprinklers (2+) in series and have enough house pressure to have them work well?

That's why I bought two of them, but have not yet tried this - am doubtful that this will be ideal for my purposes.

I've tried other sprinklers styles in series and it doesn't work, especially if you have to run a long length of hose. City pressure not enough to power both sprinklers, even plastic gilmour ones.
