FWD Drive Belt Tension

I have a TORO FWD walk behind mower and it stopped pulling, took belt cover off and the belt was out of the drive pulley, reset belt and she works. However I think I need a new belt as there is a lot of slack in the current belt(two years old),question is, how much slack is too much with all tension released?

FWD Drive Belt Tension

I guess I was not very clear in asking the question, what I really wanted to know was how much slop in the belt with engine off and drive not engaged.
