Flood by Seawater

As a result of Hurricane Irene, we received a flood of seawater in my yard. All of the grass has turned brown much like the color it would be in winter. I have noticed in other homes all over the area where the seawater has flooded the grass it has turned brown. Will the grass come back or does it have to be replanted?
