Flagpole experience anyone?

I want to install a flag pole. Has anyone done this? Do you need to purchase a special rig?

Flagpole experience anyone?

I have only built flagpoles in boy scouts. That consisted of a wooden pole stuck in the ground. I have seen some nice ones in my neighborhood. They poured a small concrete pad with 4 bolts sticking out of it. Then once that cured they installed a nice metal pole and attached it to the base. If you plan to leave your flag up at night remember you must have a spotlight shining on it. If you look on the interenet I'm sure you can find a company that manufactures them in the size you would be interested in. I also imagine they are expensive.
