We live in florida and have a drainage ditch that runs the full length of our driveway in front of our house which helps drain the property we live on during heavy rains. The problem is the sand is always filling up the ditch and we have to dig it out and blow the pipes that run under the entranceways every time we get a heavy rain. what is the best way to keep the sand sides from filling in the ditch as I am getting really tired of this and a tropical storm is headed our way?
"Sand can also be removed from water by using a cyclone. Various filters do remove sand but need either constant cleaning or replacement. Sand can be settled out of water as well, as the sand is heavier than water. "
