What grass in Texas does best with a playful pitt bull and blue heeler playing on it? They are inside dogs but go out to play for a few hours every day, would zoysia do better than St. Augustine?

This question comes up often all accross the south. Here in Atlanta, it's a little too cool for St.Augustine grass(although it is becoming more popular). Zoysia is more abundant here, but may grow too slowly to resist the wear from the dogs. St.Augustine grows faster. Centipede grass seems popular in your area. Check out this link:
