dismounting railing problem

Hi,

I am dismounting the railing on my porch (pic 1) and don't know how. There are four places (marked in pic 1 as A, B, C, D) attached to concrete or bricks. I unscrewed all screws at point A and B in pic 1. I see only four screws at point C (pic2) and D (pic3) attaching to the brick post. But the space is too tight and my tools cannot reach it. Due to the restrictions of this site the pictures are cery small and hope you can get an idea.

I hope you guys can enlighten me on this one.

Thank you very much in advance.

Dawson

What I am going to do is stone tiling the porch and the steps and then replace the railing.

OK well in that case they do make Allen type wrenches in a Philip's head that will let you get down in to it.I would soak them in penetrating oil first though

thanks for the tip. I will look at the allen type wrenches and use WD-40.
