Decking or Patio stone or Envirotile
I am tearing out some grass/garden in my backyard and want replace it with either decking (on the ground) or pavers.
I am looking to do a rectangular area, approx. 20'x9', so 180 sq.ft
I have 3 option to choose from.
1) Build a deck. Not sure how much this will end up costing, but I know I will also need to maintain it year after year.
2) Envirotile. On sale at homedepot this week, (18"x18" for $6.98) $3.11/ sq. ft.
Seems like a good product, easiest to install, but I have read reviews about have trouble fitting the tiles together correctly
3) Quadral Patio stone. Also on sale this week (16"x16" for $5.27) $2.96/ sq. ft.
Also seems fairly simple to install
I have a fair amount of excavating to do before any of this and will lay down some good geotextile to prevent any growth underneath.
What do you guys recommend and why? Any experience with the above products?
