Cub cadet i1046
I have found a 2007 cub cadet zero turn i1046 with 156 hours for sale. The owner wants me to make an offer I have no idea what is a fair price. I have driven it and everything looks like it was well maintained. The guy is selling because he bought a bigger mower. Any thoughts on what the value of the tractor might be?
Geez, I hate it when people do that, "Make me an offer!" crap. Quit messing with people and say what your price is!
First, this isn't really a Zero-Turn mower. It's a tractor with added maneuverability. It won't do what the front-deck ZTRs do, which might be to your benefit.
That said these mowers had a new list price of around $3500. They were not wildly popular, though they do have a good reputation.
After a quick scan on the internet, I'm seeing them advertised for anywhere from $1,000 to $2,000. So... since the screwball owner wants you to make him an offer, offer him $1,000 & see what happens.
