Craftsman Lawnmowers
I have been looking at these two Mowers at Sears and am undecided. They both seem similar to me. However, the first mower will be going up $100 in price on April 1st.

The 9 digit number just seems to be a Sears item number. Would like to do more research on these but it's tough without an actual model number. Thanks yall! |

I see Sears might be a sponsor here, but whatever you do when purchasing a Sears product these days, make sure you get the warranty(and keep them updated). I don't know what one is on a Craftsman lawnmower, but make sure it's at least a 3 yr one.
As far as lawnmowers go, you can't beat a zero turn dixie chopper. One of the best investments we ever made. Especially if you mow more than 2 acres and live in the south.

I have a Craftsmen lawnmower with a Briggs and Stratton engine. Not the same model as the one you listed, however. I have had it for over 8 years and I tune it up once per year and sharpen the blade. The thing runs like new. Briggs and Stratton engines are definitely pretty solid engines. Definitely get the extended warranty though, just to be on the safe side.

If you're going to spend that much I would go buy a Honda. They are awesome mowers!
