Covering an inground firepit

Kimb Newbie   Join Date: May 2011 Posts: 1	Covering an inground firepit I have a 30inch firepit that sits about 10 inches above my patio ground level. I would like to cover it when it's not in use so I can use it as a drink table. I am thinking of marine plywood coated with an epoxy for weatherproofing. Any thoughts?
