Considering a circular driveway

We're just at the thinking stage on this. I'm thinking that a circular driveway added to the front yard might look nice and add value to the property. Any drawbacks to adding one? I'm guessing that contacting the permit office will be necessary to get an okay on this beforehand. Although I'd be adding this circular driveway and tying it into my existing driveway which currently runs alongside my house, I'm sure I'd have to get approval to add this new circular driveway to the front. With a 100-foot-wide front yard, will the contractor go by a set curve based on that, or will I need to come up with my own idea of the shape? Do you have any ideas/experiences you can share?

Ayuh,... It's lain out to fit whatever you have to work with,.... It might end up being an increasing, or decreasing, or constant radius...
