Colourbond installation

Hi, I'm installing a colourbond fence and will be core drilling into a limestone retaining wall. My neighbour wants to build a brick wall on part of this limestone aswell. My question if anyone can help is:

-what's the minimum distance from the edge I can drill so both will fit but still be strong enough to last over time?

The wall is 190mm, the core is 130mm and the limestone block is 330mm wide. My calculations leave me drilling around 25mm from the edge, do you think this is enough???

Thanks in advance.

Not sure what you mean by fastener, these are just bought fencing kits that get slapped together. Poles concreted into the cores.
