Building Paver Walkway / Rain

So I have been working on this paver walkway nonstop for the past 2 days. I ran out of time last night (4 hour rental + ran out of bricks) and have not been able to put the finishing touches on it. I still have about 10 bricks left to cut before I can sand the joints. After this I need to re-rent the plate compactor to run over the walkway to settle the bricks.

I also need to come up with another solution to cutting 10 pavers because I am not going to re-rent the paver cutter for another $65! The problem is there is a chance of rain tonight and tomorrow. I may not be able to get to the the plate compactor until later this weekend. Has anyone experienced any negative consequences of leaving a paver walkway/patio unfinished through rain? I know what the worst case scenario is, but what is the likely scenario? Thanks...and any advice would be helpful!
