Briggs + Stratton 14.5 mower

I have gas in my oil case, filling the carb. It just seems to run through the carburator freely.

If, you have gas in your crankcase oil, coming from the carb, your float needle valve in the carb is stuck open. Take the float bowl off and remove the float needle. Spray the needle and seat with carb cleaner. If, that doesn't do the trick, you will have to change the needle and seat and then re-set the float height. Just my 2 cents worth.
