Duh, Let me guess----5" thick jumbo 'flag stone' dry laid- If I guessed right use lime stone screenings.

Sometimes called 'limestone fines'.

Let me know if I guessed right.---Mike---

Use lime stone screenings --sometimes called limestone 'fines'.

It's mostly powder and tiny chips---packs well and is less likely to was out than sand.

You will need to 'dress' it every year ,but it's the standard method.---Mike---

You are better off using the screenings without a bonding agent.

The bonding agent will cause the screenings to be like a mortar and will break up in chunks after a winter of freezing and thawing.

Just plan on adding a top coat with a broom once a year.
