2nd spring in new house yard questions

my yard is littered with brown spots, bare spots and tons of leafy green weeds that isn't grass. Last spring i tried weed b gone and it did kill off a lot of the dandy lions but i still had other weeds all over the yard.

i was going to till the whole yard but with two kids its hard to keep them out and my yard is about 45 feet by 90 feet.
i was thinking of just raking over large sections of 10x10 and seeding does this sound like a viable idea or should i treat my lawn with weed b gone and wait 2 weeks then rake it over and re seed?

Any ideas would be helpful.

2nd spring in new house yard questions

Hey, typo. Ken here with The Home Depot in the Chicago area. It looks like you
have some tenacious weeds there. I would retry with Weed be Gone, but if that
doesn’t work, try the Chickweed, Clover, and Oxalis spray from Ortho. That should
do the trick. Give it time to kill the roots and then rake and seed like you did
before. Good luck and take care.

Hey, typo. Ken here again. What you have is not the same as the one I posted.
Since you still have half a bottle left, I would try more than one application and
see if that works. If it doesn’t work, then try the one I suggested. Good luck and
let me know what happens. Take care.
