Hi, we have wasps that come every year and build nests up along our roof line overhang. We power wash the nests away at night or will spray with wasp spray. This time of year though they are zooming around thick and haven't built the nests yet so I am hoping to stop them before they get started. Of course you can't spray them with water or poison in the day so I hung a couple of those "natural" bottle traps where you cut to top 1/3 of the bottle off, put wet cat food inside (protein is what they crave in the spring I guess) turn the part cut off upside down into the remainder of the bottle, tape edges and hang up by the roof edge. Has anyone had an luck with this? Does one bait work better than another? Any ideas for these types of wasps would help. They are just everywhere around our house all day. Thanks!
