What type of mud to be used for a wet Wet banjo
I have spent $50 canadian bucks on a wet banjo.... hoping it would be helpful... but after reading the message from the contractor forum.... I suspect I probably end up not able to use it due to difficulties consider I have yet to try my first knife of mud...... anyhow... for me to test run it.... what type of mud should I use? All purpose ready made, drying type, setting type...? or doesn't matter...
Thanks... |

Mix it with about 1 to 2 cups of water. Use a heavy duty drill with a plaster mixing paddle. (I believe HD carries the paddle). Clean paddle after using it. If the mix sits for a day or more between uses, add water and re-mix. You want to get it to the consistency of yogurt. That allows the paper tape to flow easily, as you pull it out of the banjo. |
