What thinset for mixed mosaic?

Hi folks,

I purchased this mosaic tile: http://www.overstock.com/Home-Garden...8/product.html

It is going on one wall (from the shower to the vanity). What type and color thinset would you use and I am assuming a 3/16 inch trowel? The back of the mosaic has some sort of paper liner on the back of the glass pieces.

Modified thinset MUST be used with glass tiles.
I would use a 1/8" X 1/8" X 1/8" square notched trowel.

Thinset comes on two colors. Gray and white, the choice is yours. But, if the back of the glass tiles haven't been opaqued you should probably use white thinset.

So to be exact, which brand should i get from HD? Pre-mixed or not? What is fortified vs modified?

Home Depot sells Custom Building products.

Use their better "modified/fortified thinset". ( Modified, fortified, same thing.)

Pre-mixed is a mastic and isn't recommended for use with glass tiles.
