GerkyGatzos Newbie   Join Date: Aug 2012 Posts: 7	What are these called? How would you remove? Are these called spindles? I would like to remove them. I will be painting and updating fixtures soon. Are these bearing any kind of load? Tips for what to put there? Attached Thumbnails

747 registered     Join Date: Feb 2005 Location: Illinois (kankakee county) Posts: 942	What are these called? How would you remove? yes spindles. Here is what i would do assuming there going in the garbage. Cut them in the middle now you can untwist or wiggle depending how there fastened.
