In wall A/C Install

I plan only to remove one stud on an exterior wall for a 26" wide
in-wall a/c unit. I do plan to put in a header in place of the single stud removed with jack studs. But only to remove one stud and one stud only would this require a temporary support wall while doing this install?
Tnx D.

Is there someone online to answer my post?

Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?
