Vertical Molding

I have a Sun room that attaches to the back of my Brick house. The issue i'm having is: where the two rooms meet there is a pretty big gap and weeds, bugs and air get into the back room. I put some spray foam in the gap to close it up, cut the foam but now i'm left with just ugly looking corners and ceiling. I was thinking of putting up some crown molding from the floor to the ceiling...go across the ceiling and back down to the floor to cover up the uglyness. I have two questions.

1. Is there a better way?

2. The walls are made of two different materials, Dry wall(sun room) Brick(house). how do you attach crown molding to Brick, is it ok if i only nail it to the drywall studs, which there won't be any on the vertical walls? maybe glue?

I hope i explained this right

Vertical Molding

Could you post pictures please?

I am guessing a moulding would be good, probably not crown.
I'd make it look like a beam across the top and posts up the sides I am guessing.
o maybe a 2x4 across the top and 1x4 up the sides or whatever fits with the decor.
