Venting a Dryer on a 2nd Floor

With out new addition we moved our laundry to the second floor. It is roughly 15' from the rear of the house. Is this to far for a dryer to push out the hot air?

No, not unless there's a whole bunch of bends in the line. And don't use the flex stuff.

No, it's a straight line. Sounds good. Thanks.

Check with the manufacturer, it varies; http://www.appliance411.com/faq/dryer-vent-length.shtml
